Don't know the program, but it probably using proxies to hide your real ip.

Keep in mind that you know nothing about the proxy owner. It's very easy to collect passwords, personal data, etc. sent through a proxy.

So for plain surfing I think it's ok, but don't use it for email, banking, etc.
