Arovax Shield is a brand new type of personal security solution that is unlike any firewall, anti-virus or spyware remover. Rather than looking for spyware traces or tracking applications that secretly send or receive data over the internet, Arovax Shield blocks any attempt by malicious software to add entries to the auto-start menu, change the registry, hijack or install itself into a browser or find any other way to stealthy get itself onto a PC.

Arovax Shield provides 100% protection from various common threat types – adware, spyware, keystroke monitors (keyloggers), system monitors, trojans, viruses, worms, spambots, security disablers, browser hijackers, page hijackers, tracking cookies and administrator settings altering applications.

Arovax Shield works in two modes – automatic and manual. When the first mode is chosen, all attempts to change the registry, system or browser settings are blocked automatically. However, this may result in inability to install “good”, spyware and virus-free software. This is why there is an option to manually approve or reject software installation on a case by case basis.

Arovax Shield does not interfere with any firewall, anti-virus or spyware remover applications that may be already installed and running. The program has been designed with the average Joe in mind and requires no technical savvy whatsoever.

Arovax Shield is distributed electronically over the Internet absolutely free. Fully functional downloadable version of software is available at http://www.arovaxshield.com/

It does sound interesting and I'll be sure to try it out as soon as I can against some cws sites.

Are you connected in any way to this program or you just trying to pass on the information ? biggrin.gif

I hate to say it but this being your first post , its pretty much going to be regarded by us as spam.. But if it works good against hijackers then it I guess the post can stay.
Alan35
Just trying to pass on the information. This is not spam and i'm not a BOT =)

Ok , thanks Alan.. Hey I think I like it so far too.. smile.gif

Reminds me a lot of VnSI4H Anti Spyware 1.0 beta , posted here , but Arovax seems to be a little more polished : http://forums.maddoktor2.com/index.php?showtopic=4571

I'm going to try and get infected tonight and I'll post some pics of the fun times I have with Arovax tomorrow. biggrin.gif

Passed my first test nicely..

Regrun and Winpatrol were a bit slow to catch this trojan I picked up from the SpySherrif hijack HERE , but Arovax caught it immediately. Which is good as the trojan goes on to disable the task manager if it's not stopped quickly.

I did have to turn off Processguard and System Safety Monitor though , nothing can get past them lol..

Arovax Shield seems to be very interesting...

Moore, if in the next days you'll do more tests, please post them, your professional contribution is always welcome and appreciated (by me). wink.gif

is Arovax similar too a-squared or completly different and even better ?
Moore
Arovax seems to be more similar to Winpatrol in the protection it offers .. From what I can see , A˛ does provide a background protection/IDS , but it's not available in the free version , so I would say Arovax is better , since it is free..

I've never used A˛ before so I cant compare it with anything yet.. My trojan scanner of choice was TDS-3 .. but its now officially in a retirement home.. sad.gif .

It will work fine , just some of the protections will be overlapped..

For example if your homepage gets hijacked you will get alerts from each program that is monitoring it .. So you may be best to just enable the options in one program to cover one thing such as the homepage guard , instead of letting them all do it.. My browser [ Greenbrowser ] even has a homepage guard and it does get real annoying when a whole bunch of alerts go off from 5 different programs lol.

Arovax had an immediate reaction to alerting me about that trojan I posted above , exactly the same reaction time as Outpost 3.0 with the Antispy plugin enabled [ should be out in sept/oct I think wink.gif ]. Regrun and Winpatrol took about 30-45 seconds to alert me..

I think with SSM or Processguard running , they would catch most hijacks before anything else though , depending on your settings and the targets of the hijacker of course.
