Hi there,
emule tells me that my ip is currently blacklisted when i try to connect to certain servers.

Does anybody has an idea why, and knows any ways to be removed from the blacklists?

Well first of all it would help to know what your ip is....

yes i checked if my ip address was in the bluetack iplist for e-mule and it's not. So i guess it might be on a black list but from a different collective.

I am aware it would be necessary to have my ip in oreder to find who has banned it but am a bit reluctant to post it on a forum accessible to anyone....

you will get a message in emule if you try to connect to servers to many times in a short period.

It usualy goes away in a day or so.

Make sure you are running a client that is not blackballed by the servers, a new, client always helps.

E-mule has been acting weird today again. I try to run the port test in their webpage and it never loads. However when i go to any other section of their web site, the whole page content loads automatically.

It looks i'm seriously banned now.(?)

I guess imight need to download a new client.

Also Necromancer asked me to gibe him my ip address and said he would check it.
At first I wasn't really upfor giving my ip address, but i thought he seemed like a serious guy.
Now he hasn't come backto me and my e-mule is acting up even more than before.

So a feeling of doubt has taken me! I am not sure what to think of Necromancer. Is he the guy he appears to be?

Hey, we did have the emule testpage in our lists, I had removed it once before and it somehow got back in, so it prolly was blocked when going to the page.

I did remove the site again today from our lists.

I Used to hang onto old clients alot in emule, It is not the best thing to do, servers will block them eventualy due to vulnerablities. They also will block modded clients that are found to do things not acceptable.
