that first link, i havent dled anything, but it could just be "false-positives". a lot of AV companies will put "port scanners" in there definitions, because if a "hacker" dls them, sees they are "infected" they wont use them tongue.gif When in reality, they are clean tongue.gif But yea, just be cautious wink.gif Can always try other sources too.

lol, i got a unix virus warning off a .txt file from packetstorm a long while ago, i dont know what that was all about .?

really? send it to me! lol. someone on mIRC a few weeks back reported some "txt worm" or virus.....lol, i dont see how its possible, but...

whats funny tho...is I save "suspicious" e-mails as txt, and, 1 in particular had an attachment, i went to trendmicro.com and did a housecall scan, lol, sure enough, it detected the .txt file as a worm (cant remember what one).

I think the dude was just pullin our leg.....tryin to start a rumor, cause i opened the txt file in notepad and didnt get infected tongue.gif was funny tho lol. most likely that was the case...the txt file you got had a trace of whatever virus/worm in it heh.
