Full Version: ProtoWall on only one account?

Often when I visit a website, it gets either very slow because it tries to load blocked ads, or I cannot access it at all. I'm only interested in using ProtoWall for P2P, not for browsing. So is there a solution for this?

I was thinking about the following: Create a separate P2P account, and install ProtoWall only for that account. Unfortunately, this is apparently not possible. Or am I missing something?

No you are exactly right, sort of biggrin.gif

Protowall hooks into your network adapter and stops packets there. Therefore it stops them for all accounts.

One thing to do would be to have two network adapters and limit p2p traffic to one adapter, and other traffic to the other one. Of course this would bypass all the protection that Protowall provides in other circumstances.
