For firewall rules , BLM needs only remote HTTP / port 80 - outbound access in my firewall, and a few whois rules to access the Arin/Apnic/Ripe whois servers on remote port 43..

OPTIONS - SOURCES:
############################

these are the available BLM options to choose from , most people should start with the Antip2p.txt list , and add lists to that from the other choices if you want , i suggest just using the lists available form the bluetack server .

To enable or disable your choice of source , simply double click or select and press enable / disable..

using all lists may simply increase the number of duplicates that will be removed anyway, experiment with your own lists but remember to keep a backup of your original lists in case u create a IP list with an invalid ip address range, [this will cause problems if you try to use it] , so then you can simply replace it with your good back up , and work on finding and fixing the problem..

once your list has been downloaded, press the convert button in the center of the BLM main screen.

choose your desired output format, here i chose Protowall , and converted the PG online list in a couple of seconds..

APPLICATION IP LIST EXPORT LOCATIONS
################################

The following applications are currently supported for exporting your ip list into for updates, use the EXPORT tab on the top panel of the BLM to choose which applications to export to , or just export to them all ..

to set up the export feature , simply search for the location of the appropriate folder and save it ,
then when youre converting , save your conversion to this location , overwriting your old copy , or back that up and replace it with the new one..

one of my favourite functions of the BLM is the quick whois utility - press CTRL + W , when the BLM is open to pop it up or just press the whois tab in the main BLM interface.
