For firewall rules , BLM needs only remote HTTP / port 80 - outbound access in my firewall, and a few whois rules to access the Arin/Apnic/Ripe whois servers on remote port 43..

This will download the latest lists that are hosted on Bluetack.co.uk. These lists are optional and contain different ranges that are in the main Peerguardian database.

Get Blacklists:
This will download the current Blacklists that are selected in the options screen.
Import List:
This will allow you to import for a file on your machine,adjust the drop down menu to select the format that the list is in
Convert:
This will allow you to convert the ip ranges over to other formats in order to import the ranges into firewall's
Whois:
This will open The Whois Project, auto-selects the right whois database / quick whois lookups
It features its own app for looking up ip addressess with the whois project
The whois project was made as a team up from The Faimous One and Seraphielx
to stop the confusion of haveing to know what IP Addesss is listed on what whois server
it will look up the IP for you.
