h8_thieves
Hi, this band of fraudsters are using an IP registered to a company that came up on a google search as being on these pages, Hayter Merchants Inc, based in Belize.
the domains are futureccl.com (for web) and futureccl.net (for e-mail - forwarded to (??) Premium Yahoo LOLOL)
I've tried alerting various entities and am just alerting yourselves as you have already a mention of a disrep ip network...216.195.42.26 (tracert on 6/July/06 of futureccl.com).
The scam is to trawl through CV's on job web sites, e-mail them saying you want to employ them and get them to send their bank, credit card, copy of passport details to them in return for a job processing money orders through a new bank account in your name. All for £600 a month..maybe £1000... or maybe they will empty yours 1st!!!!
If anyone wants more info I have it..this appears to be quite a new scam as the domains were only registered in June, and it's quite a professional looking website with press reports and everything. Only when you look under the surface do you start to notice the rubbish.
Thanks for being there!! hope this post is in the right place..

HI sounds dodgy all right, if you have any other info we can use please let us know.

Hayter merchants sounds very familiar , I think I've seen them behind / linked to many spyware sites.

I had problems with these guys also. I recieve a letter from a girl off of a dating website, and she seems nice and cool and all, and wants to meet. Then says she needs 400 bucks or whatever to get here, I being a little suspicious, track her email and IP to see if she is indeed who she says she is and where she says she is from (She says she is from Russia) and poof, I track her stuff and the email is coming from within the states through a website registered by Hayter Merchants Inc. (http://www.gavert.com).

I didn't give her money, I'm not an idiot. Next email I recieve says "If you open up a new bank account and give me the account/routing numbers, the holder's name, and the bank location" then she says someone she knows will put 4,000 USD in there. I am saving emails and such for the FBI.

I was lucky I searched google and found this forum and realised that these are fake. I don't think they should be able to do this to legit people.

lol,
I am just wondering, how many are going to reply. Assuming, they are not only sending 1 "job offer" every few month.
A simple reply most likely would send it to Y A H O O account.

Hi, further to my 1st post, I have received a message from someone who actually signed up with them and received money, however their bank will not release the funds as "they might be a fraudulant company". Just shows that people will do mad things. I have recommended that they do a credit check to see if their identity has been used elsewhere..I don't know what else to suggest..

Just thought I'd make a quick post thanking people like you for doing the research into these kind of things. I was recently contacted by these same people, and replied before thinking of checking them out properly (I only looked at their site).

Once they started asking for personal details I got to my usual suspicopus stage, and found this place. Good thing biggrin.gif

Incase anyone is interested, here are some of the followup emails they send.

Dear Michael,

Thank you for your invaluable response to our job offer. While our main office is located in London the offer itself currently extends to nationwide, you will not need to relocate anywhere, at least not in the beginning. Unfortunately at this point we do not offer any specific training for the position, but rest assured we will, of course, help you as much as we can in managing this job properly.

You will have to work remotely (at home), at least in the beginning (for the first 3-6 months), later on you will be interviewed and may get promoted to analyst, manager or administrator and offered a full time office position, but everything depends on your initial performance. One of the hardest parts of the job - timings are not exactly known. You will need to make sure you have few hours daily to spend on the company's tasks.

I have attached a position's guide and a set of frequently asked questions for your consideration. You can as well download a copy of the contract from www.futureccl.com/documents/aa/agreement_aa00591.doc

At some point you may start to think performing this job is easy, but you are, unfortunately, not exactly correct. Promptness and accuracy are required of you, and as our past experience has shown not so many people have what our company needs.

If you would like to ask anything specific please do not hesitate, we are always happy to assist you. 'Do not hesitate, be specific' is the motto we would like you to employ dealing with our support.

If you are satisfied with the position please reply to this e-mail to get a full application pack and further instructions on how to proceed. Thank you again for your interest and trust you put into our company.

Sincerely,
Charles Ward.

lol, despite beeing a bit old and silly, within my last 50 000 applications, they got the first HR department with a 24 x 7 hotline biggrin.gif . makes me already even more sure that a scam is behind all that tongue.gif
City
They emailed me this morning..

And if course the first email did get me bouncing quite happily in my chair thinking "oh my god, lots of money".. then i did the tfl search thingy.. and realised it was in some god awful place!
So i emailed them to ask for a little extra info..
got back the faq and whatnot, and then the alarm bells started..
I mean, asking you set up a bank account..
Im a student and need the money but im not stupid!

anyways i found this thread and just replied to them once more with a wonderfully sarcastic email. from which i have had no response, so thanks guys!
h8_thieves
I am so glad that this thread is helping others. when i first searched for FCCL there was nothing, it was only when i searched harder eg IP address of the e-mail addresses etc that I came across this site.
I could have so easily been taken in, but as one of the posts suggests, my suspicious nature kicked in, and I delved further.
I hope this thread helps many others.
