How does a Bluetack blocklist develop? What I mean is, what is the process taken, including submission, verification, and upload.

Do you submit in the forums or elsewhere?
Who does the verifying of these sites if that is done?
How do you upload the new blocklist?
Who hosts the blocklist how do you add new ones.

I'm just interested to learn how this place works that's all.

Ok here's a real quick answer:


Forums mainly , but we will listen to people who find suspect ranges in our IRC channel. Sometimes email , but I don't really read my emails very much. Also some people might send them via PM , or post them on other forums for us to look at.



Depends what type of site or IP range it is and what list it goes in. Lots of people here help maintain different lists. Nothings perfect but we do our best.. we will fix any errors if they are reported as quickly as possible.



We add data to our SQL database and upload the lists to various servers. If we want to add new lists we just do it. We host the lists or some of our members donate their webspace. Everything here is a community based project.
