Anti_Spyware
This site: http://antirootkit.com/software/index.htm has a list of many antirootkit programs:
(no I am not trying to push the site or anything, I've just thought it is a useful resource)

Rootkit detection and removal:
Currently the site has 24 software listed under this category. Three are for Linux/BSD, the rest are for Windows. Some of the tools are pretty advanced and don't really explain what to do, they expect you will know how to use them. This is why its important not to mess around with them if you dont know what you're doing- Or make backups of your system first and make sure they will not get corrupted or not be able to be accessed after problems occur.

Rootkit prevention:
There are 11 software under this category, all for the windows OS. SocketShield claims to prevent 0 day exploits, I tried it out for a bit but i havent fully evaluated it. It seems pretty cool though, if its effective. ProcessGuard obviously is amazing as Moore has stated previously.

Let me know what u guys think of these programs. i've tried to test them all out but it was hard because sometimes they would crash my computer if i had too many running at once ( a bad idea) or if i accidentally closed one without disabling its kernel level protection (which isnt smart) lol.

I'm not sure how all of them compare to eachother but it would be interesting to find out.
