Good day to all,

I'm rather in a dilemma. Could anyone please tell me why there are 0 bytes in the Trojan/Portscanner blacklist?

Thanks so much & have a great day.

Ready.
Opening source list...
Source list loaded.
Getting 'Trojan & Portscanners' Blocklist file: http://www.bluetack.co.uk/config/trojan.txt
Decoding and Adding...
Loading data... 1325 lines.
1324 rules added.
Sorting Array...
Merging overlapping ranges...

I just downloaded the trojans.txt with blm and it downloaded fine, are you sure you have the right link?

Hi Firstaid,
I haven't a clue what the problem was. I had the right link, I was doing exactly as I do everyday with BLM.
All I know is, one day the list was loading and the next day I got 0 bytes & I was going to download manually from the Trojan/Portscanner Blacklist on the website but, it too had 0 bytes.

Anyway, BLM loaded fine now. I had the .zip file but, somehow the .txt file went amiss from the program.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to me. I might have accidentally deleted the file but, don't remember doing so.

Just want to say that BLM is a more than a wonderful piece of software.

Have a nice day,

I understand that the lists had changed from one server to another recently, it may have been in that time you were trying to download that list and it was not available, /me *shrugs*.

Let us know if something happens again please smile.gif

Things are always changing and mistakes happen, I should know, I have made my share wink.gif

Hi firstaid,
Not being more than an average techie person, I'd say without putting 2+2 together about the changing of servers, which btw, I did know about that you've hit it square on the head of what happened and thanks for
solving my dilemma. Maybe one day I'll be able to solve a dilemma for you.

Mistakes??? Oh, yes, there have been a number of them & learning from them is what's important. Sometimes you just need someone to point stuff out to ya & hopefully you'll remember if there's another episode of the same.

Thanks again for taking the time to reply to me.

Have a nice day,
DAB
