was also uninstalled but I can still see it in my adapter's properties under Network tab -> I press Install, then Service and there there are still Protowall & Protowall Driver entries which did not disappear. Why wasn't it removed and how can I remove it?

Im pretty sure that uninstalling the driver is not the samething as uninstalling the actual program and its components

Try uninstalling the actual program if want to get rid of all its components but why would you do that?

Um, yeah it is. The actual program does not install, it is merely a .exe that talks to the driver.

Try clicking on remove in the network area, or run the pwdrvinst.exe file found in the xpdriver (or whatever os you are using) of the Protowall directory. You need to run it from command line line like this:

pwdrvinst -u

As I said, I did uninstall the whole program and the uninstallation prompted that also the driver was uninstalled successfully. I don't see Protowall straight in my adapter's Networking tab but only when I press Install (that means install new client, service or protocol), I press Service and there it is, Protowall entries that refuse to disappear after the whole unistallation. Note that there aren't left any files/directories of Protowall on the hard drive nor in the registry. blink.gif
Anyone else has it after unistalling the program?

I think you will find that is because windows likes to keep copies of drivers even though they are not actually installed. You will find that it has copied them into the windows directory under c:\windows\system32\drivers. If you want to you can delete the entry/s in there. Probably protowall.sys

No, I don't have Protowall.sys driver left or any other files assosiated with Protowall unless it's hiding under a different name. Wierd.
