In the past few days, I've encountered redirects from one site I was on
to a Winfixer domain. This has happened three times, twice on a local
news station's website, wfaa.com, and this morning on intellicast.com.

In the former case, a flash ad served by Zedo redirected me on one
machine to errorsafe.com, and on another to pcturbopro.com. In
neither case did I get infected, as I used the task manager to kill the
browser.

On the intellicast website, I had followed a bookmark to the 1km radar
when I got redirected to errorsafe.com. But because I had put it and
several other Winfixer domains in the restricted sites zone, it couldn't
do a thing, and the window was blank anyway. I was able to close it
normally without anything bad happening.

I posted about this to Broadband Reports in the Security forum:

Some research done in that topic by other posters indicated that it
was indeed Zedo's ad network that got hijacked, specifically a Google ad
they were using - which they use when they've exhausted their own ones.
