Prevx2.0 i want to know what its like as i have used it and when coming to uninstalling it. You guessed it the thing wouldn't uninstall what i want to know is that if anyone other person has used this program to tell me more about it and if its worth having no the system again i managed to uninstall it but i ended up formatting cos no matter how hard i tried to uninstall wouldn't allow it and tried to remove manually going into regedit and still no luck

I tried it for a while but it didn't seem to do anything and there were no
updates for months. I also noticed it resisting uninstall but booting into Safe
Mode made it possible to remove it.

ok seems the new one tho prevx 2.0 updates every few hrs or daily just wanted to know if worth keeping or using ewido or something

I watched it update every day too, yet there were never any updates to
actually download.

in that case what would you recommend to use then as i have used otehrs but they seem to be pretty darn rubbish

What others? Try Spybot Search and Destroy. It has a simple resident watcher that alerts you to any changes
in registry or bootup settings and lets you allow or deny them.
