Hi
When I turn on my computer the McAfee Security Centre disables itself when the computer is ready to use, then I have to click on the red icon, then click on McAfee Privacy Service to enable it to switch on, when I attempt to close the application it freezes.
This problem occurred when I installed a software called DVD Fab Gold 3.
I have now uninstalled the software off the system but the problem still occurs.
What steps can I take to solve this problem? If it is suggested that I should uninstall McAfee Security Centre and then reinstall the product, will it cancel my subscription?
I have tried to contact McAfee vie e-mail but I have had no response.
I hope you can advise me on this matter.

yes I would first try to reinstall if it's truly broken.. there might not be much more you can do.
In regards to your subscription, hopefully you have backed up your serial or subscription information in case it does get lost when you reinstall.
And since I know very little about mcafee products, please try the mcafee support forum where you will be more likley to find people familar with those programs:
