Could you explain what happened here in terms of the Bank of America ad? Were these sites planting spyware that served Bank of America ads? I'm asking because I regard Bank of America corporate consultants as the root of all evil and a plague that, thanks to Bank of America's hyperspeed turnover rate, has spread to uncountable other corporations. If they are now resorting to spyware for marketing, I have one more thing to be disgusted with.

nothing to do with spyware banality. Just the overall idea of this HOSTS project, is to get rid of most ads from web pages. I saw the ad, so why not block it?
