Hello, I'm new here, but trying to up my computer security! Ive gone ahead and used Free Sunbelt PF, PGP 9 with full disk encryption, AVG, Peerguardian and WPA2 wireless router. I am also using Secure-Tunnel VPN from secure-tunnel.com which claims to route all my internet activity even in programs through their secure-tunnel and encrypt it etc...But the only way I can test if it is working is by doing an IP search through google to make sure it isn't showing my IP etc...but I want some way to test this better. Anyone have any information on secure-tunnel's reliability? They claim technically they can't even see what they are tunneling...So anyone able to help me out, or am I stuck on just trusting the company?
