Dear members,
I am behind firewall and I would like to use mirc as well anonomous internet access. As http tunnel is no more free, can anyone suggest a method (Ofcouse I can't afford Hopster). Our administration has
firewall.mydomain.com (Squid/2.4.STABLE6+filter0.6)

Thanks in advance.

are there any ports open? email pop3 ftp or anything else?

I use 8080 port for http to get connected to internet (proxy settings). ie. 192.168.0.1:8080 for working on internet explorer. Nothing else like ftp or mirc are working after firewall installation. They say they are using linux firewall as specified in my earlier message. HTTPport is not working. Hopster is working but just connecting and I am unable to share / receive files. Edonkey is complaining udp port not accessible.
What I do now to get p2p working as well anonymous surfing? My admins are very strict and eventhough they are allowing the sites, they are logging the site info.
